GLEN E. "GOOSE" GOSLINE 84 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1925 in Raymond, Washington to George and Mabel (Pulver) Gosline. Glen's family moved to Coquille, Oregon where he graduated from Coquille High School in 1943 and entered the US Navy shortly after. He served until being honorably discharged in 1945. Glen attended watch making school in Glendale, California from 1945 through 1947. He owned and operated 2 jewelry and watch making stores from 1948 until 1985. Glen played high school basketball, enjoyed golfing, traveling, tinkering with jewelry and playing cards with special friends. He was a member of the Episcopal Church since the age of 14 and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Doris Ann Gosline; sons David Gosline, Jim Gosline and his wife Sylvia and Dan Gosline all of Roseburg, Oregon and Mike Gosline and Lisa of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren Ashley Gosline, Devon Gosline, Bryan Gosline and Juston Gosline. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Diane K. Gosline and son Steven W. Gosline. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. George's Episcopal Church. At the family's request contributions may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church of the charity of your choice.
