GLORIA E. BEACH March 9, 1926 - May 20, 2012 Roseburg, Oregon Gloria E. Beach passed peacefully from this world on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the age of 86 at her home at Manor House in Roseburg, Oregon. Born on March 9, 1926 in New Jersey, the daughter of Steven and Irma Paske, Gloria was raised by her father, Steve, as an only child. Gloria married Bert Beach in 1946 and raised three sons; Richard, Mark and Mick. She performed administrative support work for Shrade Knives in Walden, NY where they raised their family, and later for the Catholic Church in Pensacola Florida and Roseburg Oregon. Mom loved to sing, loved her family, and adored her cats and dogs. Gloria is survived by Mickey and Kelly Beach; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, all living in New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Colorado and California. She is predeceased by her son, Mark Steven Beach who passed away in New York in 2009. After the passing of her husband, Bert, Gloria also spent 17 happy years with her second husband, Richard Kemp, until his death. Gloria was trained in dance and voice and performed as a young lady in Jersey City and the NYC area. She enjoyed impromptu opportunities to sing at piano bars and dinner houses through her years. She had a light hearted sense of humor and held a warm light in her eyes you couldn't miss. A service will take place at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Roseburg, OR on Wednesday, May 23, at 12:10 p.m., location of an informal reception to be held at the church after Mass.
