Granger Martin

November 30, 1940 — June 23, 2023

Granger Evans Martin passed away on June 23rd, 2023, at the age of 82 years old. He was the husband of Charlotte Ann Martin, together they shared 63 years of marriage that they were deeply passionate about. Granger was born in Oakland, CA, the son of Adeline and Darrell Martin, he had 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and attended Santa Rosa High School.
Granger was a concrete laborer in construction, he retired in 1991. He then became a ski bum, pulling his trailer into the parking lot so he could ski every day. He worked on a commercial fishing boat for a season. Granger grew up with horses and for most of his life he had a horse or two and would go on extended horseback camping trips. He was a cowboy who worked on a dude ranch, an avid bicyclist riding thousands of miles. Granger loved everything outdoors and was always up for a challenge, he was a big kid at heart that loved to play, the best neighbor you could have, helping whenever he was needed. Most of all he was a Godly Man that put Jesus Christ before everything. Granger found Jesus at the age of 6, he would go to his parent's barn and just talk to God for hours. Granger spent his life preaching Jesus to everyone he met whether you were family, friend, or acquaintance. You knew where he stood with Jesus. He was an ordained pastor and a prophet that started a YouTube channel at the age of 81. Granger created videos daily to spread the love of God to as many people as he could. Granger was a father to three children, Granger Evans Martin Jr., Gregory Charles Martin and Georgia Kelly Gonzalez, grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 29 and great-great grandfather of two. Granger was loved by everyone; the family has been told by many that met him that he was the best man they have ever known.
He will surely be missed by the people he touched on this earth, but rest assured we will see him again.
