H. Avis Asleson
Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 17,2018 at the age of 102.
Avis was born on May 14, 1915 in Iowa to Albert and Betsy Lea. She was on of eight children. Avis met and married the love of her life, George, and they were happily married for 74 years. George and Avis had two children, George Jr.(Jeanette) and Mary Lovern (Ron).
Her husband George passed away on March 6, 2011. She leaves behind daughter in law Jeanette and grandchildren Ronnie, Sharon, Janet, Lisa and Kenny's wife Toni. Avis had eight great grandchildren and for great-great grandchildren. Avis also has one surviving sister, Gladys, who lives in California.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers and sisters, son:George Jr and her grandson Kenny and granddaughter Carol.
Avis loved her family and was blessed to have a long life, enjoying all of her grandchildren. The family would like to Thank Mercy Hospice for all their wonderful care. She will be very missed by all her family and friends.
At Avis request, there will be no services. Private interment will be held at Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon.
