HAPPY ABNER RAY 79 of Myrtle Creek, Oregon passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home. He was born April 1, 1935 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Cecil and Mable Ray. Happy was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Happy and Peggy moved from Bakersfield, California to the Myrtle Creek area 10 years ago. He attended Redeemers Fellowship in Roseburg, Oregon. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Peggy (Cline) Ray; daughters Terri Walker and her husband Eugene, Connie Martin and her husband Kirk, Kimmie Grigsby and her husband Donn and Sandy Oglesby; sisters LaVoyn Allen and her husband Bill and Shirley Palmer and her husband Jack; brother Alva Ray; 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Happy was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Ray; parents Cecil and Mable Ray and a sister-in-law Loretta. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Redeemers Fellowship 3031 W Harvard Ave
