Harold D "Doug" Church

Harold "Doug" Church, 75, of Lookingglass passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was born on July 9, 1940 to Harold E and Florence E. (Murphy) in Eugene, Oregon. He was a graduate of Klamath Falls High School. Doug joined the US Air Force in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964, during his time in the USAF he was stations in Texas, Marocco, and Idaho. He was a mechanic and driver on logging trucks for many years. As a young man he enjoyed being out in the forest with his father on fire watch. He was a devoted family man. Doug is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; DeDe (Vereta) and a daughter Sonia Stange. Surviving him is his sister, Norma Sellars, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1 pm at Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses, interment will follow at Lookingglass Cemetery.
