Harry was born in San Diego, California on June 9, 1921, the first son born to Harry and Esther Clark. He died of heart failure in the early morning hours on November 30, 2013 at his home.
Harry married Barbara Tatro in June 1948, who passed away in July 1986. On August 2, 1990 he married Vernetta (Ned) Calderwood who survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Barbara, and a brother Monroe.
Harry graduated from the University of California at Berkley with a BS degree in Forestry, working for Pope & Talbot for 40 years in Oakridge, Oregon as Timber Manager. He was a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda.
He is survived by children Stephen Clark and Christine (Beau) Spaulding of Washington state, step daughter Denise Shelton of Roseburg, Oregon. Brother Donald Clark of Folsom, California. Seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren including two step grandsons.
Harry served as a Lt in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe.
He is a past director of the Oregon Logging Conference, supporter of the Douglas County Museum, Wildlife Safari, and the Umpqua Valley Arts. Harry was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Harry enjoyed traveling over the world and Dixieland Jazz festivals and American Legion Baseball.

Harry will be cremated and his ashes interred at a later date in the Oakridge Cemetery in Oakridge, OR. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
