Hazel Opal Bly

Hazel Opal Bly was born May 4, 1914 in Wabash, Minnesota. She died April 9, 2012 just weeks before her 98th birthday.
She married David O. Bly on March 20, 1935. They were married 59 years until his death in 1994.
She worked as a cook at the County Home for 18 years. She leaves behind her son, Charles, and son, Kenn and his wife, Mona; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.
Mom served her Savior Jesus Christ in many ways at Melrose Community Church. She loved Pastor Mike and all the members of the congregation.
Mom lived alone until she was 94. We are grateful for her neighbors, Don and Betty Reber, who lovingly watched over her and helped her get to church each Sunday.
She asked for no service to be held. We will honor her request. She was well loved.
