Iola Alna Surgeon

Iola Alna Surgeon of Sutherlin, OR passed away on July 3, 2016 at the age of 99. She was born April 20, 1917 in Rose Lodge, OR to John Kenworthy and Lavrenia Savage Kenworthy. Iola married Wyce Lynn Surgeon in 1933. They were married 66 years before Wyce passed away in 1999. Iola enjoyed crocheting and working on puzzles in her free time. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Wyce Lynn Surgeon, Jr., John Laverne Surgeon, and Tommy Lee Surgeon. Iola is survived by her daughters, Iola Alna Hatcher and Lavrenia Elvira Worley; son, Roger Wyatt Surgeon; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 25 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Central Baptist Church in Sutherlin on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow in the Kellogg cemetery.
