March 24, 1931 — November 14, 2016

Nina Iris Murray was born March 24th 1931 at Upland, Indiana to Charles and Mary Murray. Charles was a ministrial student at Taylor University. Due to the depression years Charles was forced to leave school. He took his small family, wife, son and newborn daughter to Wisconsin where they lived on his parents farm. During these years he was a circuit rider preacher to 3 congregations.

After the depression he became a church builder, building church buildings and pastoring until the congregation was large enough to be on their own, then moving to begin all over again. Thus several schools were attended by his children. Iris graduated from the Merrill Wisconsin High School in 1949. She attended Olvet College for 2 years, worked for 2 years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Western Electric until her marriage to Willis R Cook on April 3rd, 1954. Three sons and one daughter were born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1967 Willis and Iris moved to Colorado Springs, CO so that he could attend Nazarene Bible College. A 4th son was born while there. After graduation from Nazarene Bible College, a baby girl was born there and completed the family. Pastorates for Willis and Iris were Haure, MT; Helena, MT; Powell, WY;Glasgow, MT.
