Born to parents Carlton and Mattie McWaters, in Antlers OK. James was preceded in death by his father, mother and wife Evelyn McWaters. He had a twenty six year army career and several years with Roseburg High School Jr. ROTC. James also worked for UCC for several years. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Boreham, two sons, Jimi McWaters and Danny McWaters, daughter, Lesa Marcuson, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. A Memorial Service will be held at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses on Saturday, August 30, at 1:00 pm.
