Janis L Thacker

Ms Janis Lee Thacker (McKnight). 63, of Winston, passed away on January 6. 2019 at her home after an illness. She was born on May26, 1955 to Lee and Jean (Tinker)  McKnight in Roseburg.  She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1973 and was employed for 20 years at Walmart as a directs/ invoice clerk.  Janis was a very simple woman, with a full heart while surrounded by her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her daughters, Danni Jo Moore (Donald);  Shelby Northern (Michael Gilbert); sons, Justin Thacker (Sierra), Kyle Northern (Leilani Chaquies). Janis is also survived by her sister, Joyce McKnight, two brothers; Larry McKnight (LeAnn) and Bob Tinker and grandchildren Katrina Brages, Devon Whelchel, Jeremy Whelchel Jr., Olivia Morrison, Ezra Morrison, and Baby Thacker ( due very soon) and one great grandchild, Matteo Bravo.  Janis is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Devon Whelchel.
