Jeannette Ann Aldrich passed away peacefully on Easter. Jeannette was born in 1942 in Gackle, North Dakota to John and Anna Schweitzer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Debi, and her husband Wayne Aldrich.
She is survived by her children Wendy Isaacson and Grant Aldrich; her sister Mickey Puckett; her brothers Harold and Eldo Schweitzer as well as four grandchildren Shannon, Michael, Matthew and Rebecca. Also surviving her are seven great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Kasen, Lily, Sophie, Emmett, Noah and Rebecca.
Jeannette moved to Roseburg in 1955 and lived on NE Hughes. She and Wayne moved to the house at the top of NE Brooklyn in 1961. Jeannette worked as an ER Nurse at Mercy Medical for 35 years, caring for others. Jeannette loved the outdoors: playing with her Great Danes; traveling across country; spending time in the Arizona desert; heading to the Oregon Coast to go fishing or clamming; and with Wayne, rock-hounding. She was an avid bowler in her younger years.
There will be a celebration of her life in the coming months in Roseburg. At this point the family is coping with this unexpected loss.
In lieu of flowers, please volunteer at, or make a donation to Mercy Medical, a very big part of Jeannette's life.
