Born October 24, 1941 Died March 21, 2010
I call him MY Joe, Daddy, Dad, Grandpa and Brother. He's no longer with us, and we miss him more that anything or anyone. Joe has ALWAYS been there for his family. He was a very special man; very loved and loving. A friend of the family said that he was one of the most dedicated fathers he knew. The story behind My Joe is a most amazing one. If you'd like to hear it, any of us would be proud to tell you! He was a Good Samaritan and did so many brave things in his life. We know he's in a better place now; hunting and fishing with his old friends and his mom and dad (Ortha and Ernest Conner). We love him and miss him so much. Survivors include his wife Karen; brother Dean (Susan); daughters Deborah (John Fraser), Joleen (Kevin Johnson) and Kennis; sons Kirkland and Jerrod Conner. He was also called Grandpa by 4 grandchildren Tony, Nikki, Bryan and Kassandra and Uncle by several nieces and nephews. Joe was an avid historian and enjoyed coaching and watching the kids as they played their various sports, attending concerts and performances as they expanded their minds and talents. He was incredibly proud of his children and children's accomplishments. A private family service has been held.
