John Jack Oscar Busenbark, age 79, went to be with Jesus on January 26, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon. He was born on June 6, 1938, in Santa Maria, California, to Edwin and Doris (Shinn) Busenbark.
Jack grew up in Roseburg where he attended Roseburg High School. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Douglas County for many years.
Jack married Maria (Salo) on September 21, 1968. They were happily married for 49 years. He and Maria were members of Wellspring Bible Fellowship. He enjoyed driving the bus for several high school mission trips to Mexico and Southern California. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, woodworking, and traveling.
Jack is survived by his wife, Maria; his children, Albert Busenbark, Alan (Kathleen) Busenbark, Kathy (Brian) Dinkel, Carol Busenbark, Gail (Carl) Seaton; sister, Jean (Jess) Hart; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; and sister, Kay.
A memorial service will be held at Wellspring Bible Fellowship, 2245 NW Kline Street, Roseburg, Oregon, on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Wellspring Bible Fellowship.
