J. Philip Huntley-Franck April 26,1948 - January 28, 2022. Parent: Elizabeth Krautwurst Franck and Bela Franck. Survived by his wife Violet Huntley-Franck, daughters Corenna Franck, Jessica Nash, grandchildren Eamon, Amanda, Jacob and one great grandchild Arthur.
Born in Salzburg, Austria Phil immigrated to the U.S when he was 3 1/2. He grew up in Long Beach, N.Y. He loved to fish. As a young adult he entered the world of designing computer software. His last position was as senior analyst for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. In 1990 he met Violet. They married. She convinced him to follow his dream. They moved to mountains. He wrote several books and kept a wild turkey journal. He was a good man. He was an individual with exceptional intelligence, who aced everything he tried. As his wife, Violet, it was/is my honor to know and love him.
