John M. Keller

John M. Keller 54 passed away Friday August 7, 2009 from complications following a hit and run accident on his motorcycle. Johnny was born in Roseburg on October 29, 1954 to John C. and Cora Lee (Smith) Keller. He graduated from Roseburg High in 1972 and had work since he was old enough for his family business, the Keller Lumber Company. Johnny was married to Pilar Jo (Yraguen) Keller for 31 years. He served seven years with Youth For Christ / Campus Life and loved and cared for teens the whole time. Johnny didn't have "Religion" he had a "Relationship" with the Lord Jesus Christ that was, and is unending. He loved the great outdoors and riding motorcycles. Johnny is survived by his wife Pilar Jo Keller, son Lucas Mahaffet, brother Mike Keller and his wife Lori Ann, nieces Annie Keller, Lisa Dehart and her husband Ken, Andrea Deweiss and her husband John, nephews Clarence Keller and his wife Rachel, and Tony Sacket. He also leaves behind too many friends to list here, he will be missed by all of us immensely. A Celebration of Life for family and close friend will be held Saturday , August 29 from 2 PM - 4 PM River Bend Rd across from John and Pilar's home at our loving neighbor Ruth Bielenberg's house on the river.
