Joseph Alan Atterbury

Age 24, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. He born on November 21,1990, in Roseburg, Oregon. Joey leaves his loving family to cherish his memory including his beautiful son Caden; father Rick Atterbury; his mother Debbie Morin; step-father Mick Morin; siblings Austin, Jordyn, Tara, Michael and Monica; niece Allyvia; grandparents Gordon and Allison Atterbury; Ralph and Cindy Gonzales; Alberta Peralta; and Bill and Skip Weaver; along with numerous aunts, uncle and cousins.

Joey graduated from Sutherlin High School in 2009. He was a warm, friendly young man who loved spending time with his family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his son Caden.

He was passionate about sports, especially basketball. He was an avid fan of the Duke Blue Devils. The basketball court was his second home.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chapel of the Roses in Sutherlin. Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Sutherlin Family Church.
