Joyce Eileen Beckham

Joyce Eileen Beckham, 80, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday February 15, 2011. She was born on July 17, 1930 in Liberty, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Emil and Jessie (Turner) Kvidera. A resident of Douglas County for over 50 years, Joyce graduated top of her class from Roseburg High School. She worked as a secretary for the Roseburg School District #4 until she retired. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone she knew. Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church and while living with her son and daughter-in-law David and Linda, for the last six years, Green Community Church. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, loved to garden, can, and was involved in the Fair with her baked goods and home grown, blue ribbon, fruits and vegetables. Survivors include her daughter Peggy and her husband Jim; son David and his wife Linda; grandchildren Mike, Jeff, Elizabeth, Jessica, John, Patty, and Jason; great grandchildren Anthony, Byron, Cayden, Maliesha, Willow, Shilynn, Tanner, Payton and Shayd. Joyce will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale E. Beckham, parents Jessie and Emil Kvidera and her son Alan Dale Beckham. A viewing will be held at Wilson's Chapel Of The Roses on Monday February 21, 2011 from 9am to 5pm. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at 11:00am at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. A get together will follow at Round Table Pizza.
