Mrs. Julie Ann Tilton, age 66, of Oakland passed away peacefully Monday, October 8, 2018. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Gerhard Betzen and Martha Seidl Betzen.
She attended Madonna High School in Wichita, Kansas and graduated in 1969 and went on to earn a Masters in Fine Arts degree in 1979 at Wichita State University.
She worked for Boeing Company as a graphic artist for 13 years and spent time during her life teaching, drawing and painting.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert D Tilton, son; Eric R Tilton. Sisters; Geraldine Sas, Louise(Leroy) Wolf, Regina(Dick) Rohlfs, Cecilia McHose. Brothers; Chris (Linda) Betzen, Steve (Terry) Betzen, Ted (Kathy) Betzen, and Robert Betzen.
Julie was a very loving and kind person and will be missed dearly by many.
A Celebration Of Life Memorial will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Colwich Kansas on October 27th at 2 pm. https://stmarkks.org/
