Karolina James

Our mom and grandma went home to God and her family on Tuesday 7/14/2010 in Roseburg, Oregon. Karolina James was born November 20, 1914 in Germany to Alex and Tereasa Menath. She met Elmer in Germay while he was assigned there in the military. They settled in Roseburg in 1957. Karolina was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Elmer, two of her children, Willie James and Anita Boyd, one great grandchild, her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by Sylvia (William) Richie, Christa (Roy) Garman, Carol (Jay) Williams, Virginia (Steve) Clausen, and Steven James, 14 grandchildren, numerous Great grandchildren and friends Tina Brown, B.J.Carr, and Rosemarie Smith. Karolina was an exceptional mother, immaculate homemaker and excellent cook. She was full of life and always happy, making friends everywhere she went and was the life of a party. Karolina's biggest joy was cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10 AM at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
