Kenneth Albert Bollingberg

Age 82, of Sutherlin, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014, in Roseburg. Son of Thomas and Alma Julia (Raaum) Bollingberg, born on July 12, 1932, in Arlington, Washington. He was the youngest of eight children. Kenneth married Jeanette E. (Gilbert) Bollingberg on September 17, 1950. Kenneth worked very hard all his life in the woods. He started his logging career at the age of 17 and finally retired in 1995. He worked for Wells Logging for about 25 years. Kenneth is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Jeanette; son Tommie in 1986; great granddaughter Kylie Craw; and great great granddaughter Mariela Bollingberg. He is survived by his son Jimmy and his wife Marsha Bollingberg of Sutherlin; daughter Dorothy and her husband Chuck Quarles of Oakland; nine grandkids; twenty-one great grandkids and nine great great grandkids. Viewing will be held from 1p.m to 4p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Both will be held at Chapel of the Roses, Central Ave. Sutherlin.
