Ken was born in Lebanon, Oregon, to Elvis and Rosie (Messmer) Eeds.
Both parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cheryl (Jensen) Eeds; daughters, Mandy Eeds of South Carolina, Megan Jewell and husband Brian of Roseburg Oregon; grandsons, Brogan Monk and Benjamin Jewell; sisters, Bobbi Haggren of Astoria, Oregon, and Christy Hutley of Corvallis, Oregon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ken worked at American Plywood Association for 33 years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, restoring antiques and playing with his grandsons. He was an active member of Wellspring Bible Fellowship in Roseburg where they currently reside. He participated in prison ministry, visiting various institutions with Bill Glass Ministry. Ken and Cheryl fulfilled a dream of traveling to Israel in 2010, where Ken was baptized in the Jordan River.
His funeral service will be held at Wellspring Bible Fellowship on Saturday, September 15th, 2018, at 3 p.m.
