Laurence A. Hunt

Laurence A. Hunt, of Sutherlin, Oregon passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. He was born January 7, 1944 in Salem, Oregon to Kenneth W. and Dorothy E. Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict. He received an Associates Degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Kathy Hunt; daughters Jodie Hunt and Shannon Gloersen and her husband Egil; son Laurence Hunt Jr. and his wife Shawnna; brothers Dennis Hunt and his wife Myrna and Stephen Hunt; grandchildren Anthony Hunt, Shaniel and Michael Crowley, Kyle and Tanysha Hunt, Kenneth and Kandi Houston, Zachary Houston and Anders Gloersen; 6 great granchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM within the grounds of the Roseburg National Cemetery.
