Age 60, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1952 in Roseburg, Oregon to Charles S. and Marie O. (Prue) Saxton. At age 16, he drove ambulance and was an EMT for Billy Moore. He then went into the logging business. Lauerence was a mechanic and enjoyed building and riding dirt bikes, four wheelers and street bikes. His passion was his rare 1936 Indian Chief race bike. He began building this bike 40 years ago and accomplished his life long dream of going to the Bonneville Salt Flats where his team set two world records. He is survived by his daughter, Jeri Saxton; niece Lynn Moore and husband Jeff; niece Karla Harr and husband Terry; nephew Charles L. Saxton and wife Jen; nephew William Saxton. Great nieces, Talia, Tana, Brittani, Shelbi and Telissa; great-great niece Tavia and many great friends who we thank for their love and support. Lauerence was proceeded in death by his father, mother, brother Charles E. Saxton and cousin Marie "Cookie" Marshal. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at The Event Center on Edenbauer.
