Leland Ray Wade

LELAND RAY WADE 75 of Dillard, Oregon passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 in a local care center. He was born November, 4, 1935 in North Platte, Nebraska to Alvin R. and Zillah M. Wade. Leland served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and received the National Defense Service Medal. He worked in area sawmills and for 16 years at P&M Cedar Products as a Planerman. Leland loved to play Country music and entertain. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges for 37 years. Leland also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Rose M. Wade; sons Larry Wade and his wife Traci and Alvin Wade and his wife Trina; sisters Lana Keeler and her husband Clarence and Judy Stout; brother Jerry Wade and his wife Jeanette; grandchildren Zach, Dylan and Kaitlynn; nephews and niece Gerald, David, Steven and Tina. Leland was preceded in death by his parents and son Leland Scott Wade. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Pastor Charlie Jordan will officiate. Interment will be within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
