Leonard H. Kinsel

LEONARD H. KINSEL 99, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was born January 22, 1919 in Wichita, Kansas. Leonard served in the Army Air Corps as a 1LT during WW II. He was a pilot who flew a B24 Liberator. Leonard worked for many years as a log scaler for Southern Oregon Log Scaling Bureau. Survivors include his children Le Horning and her husband John of Seaside, Oregon, Linda Churchill and her husband Jack of Fremont, California and Bill Kinsel and his wife Patty of Roseburg, Oregon; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years Goldie and his second wife Genell of 21 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
