Letha May Miller, age 97 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. She was born on December 24, 1914 in Lebanon, Oregon to Claude and Lorena Wassom. Letha lived in Oregon her entire life. She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1934 and attended the University of Oregon, major in Journalism. Letha spent her working years at Weber's Bakery and the Roseburg Water district. She loved the North Umpqua, where she spent a lot of her free time. Letha also loved to square dance, gardening, biking, spending the winters in Phoenix, baking pies and angle food cake. She is preceded in death by her husbands, James Henbest and William Miller, daughter, Jannice Claypool, grandson, Lance Claypool, granddaughter, Jill Bryant and her 2 brothers and sister. She is survived by her granddaughter, grandson, 4 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation held from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday March 3, 2012 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. She will be laid to rest with in the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
