Loriann Louise Johnson, 58, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, after a short but fierce fight with cancer. She was surrounded by her three daughters in the comfort of her own home in her final days.
She is survived by her long time significant other Trinidad Guerrero, her Mother Irene Bohlman, brothers Ron Bohlman (Alice), Jim Bohlman (Carol), Bruce Bohlman (Joellen), sister Judith Fichtner, daughters Chantel Terry (Russell), Shayla Brown (Jared), Samantha Johnson (Geordey), 7 adored grandchildren Kane (13), Addilyn (8), Lily (8), Jaxon (4), Mars (4), Aldo (3), and Domino (1), as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Richard, brother Rick, and brother-in-law Mike.
Lori was born on April 10, 1965, in Dickinson, North Dakota-the youngest born child to Richard and Irene Bohlman. She spent her childhood and young adulthood in North Dakota. Lori and Daniel Johnson were married in January 1985, and had daughter Chantel later in July that year. Their second daughter Shayla was born in November of 1988. After moving to Riddle Oregon in 1992, the family settled in Oregon making it their home state. Their last daughter, Samantha was born in April of 1993. Though this relationship wasn’t permanent, they did have three children together and remained friends after.
Lori remained in Riddle to raise her daughters and was the doting mother to them all. She spent much of her time at their sporting events, band concerts, and was the host of countless sleepovers, birthday parties and get togethers. Lori’s life was forever changed when her first grandchild was born in 2010. She lived her life in constant awe of the seven grandchildren she had. Her kids and grandkids were her most prized possessions, she spoke of them often and always beamed of joy when she was around them. Everyone she encountered saw pictures or heard stories of how proud she was of them. The time that was spent with them will be forever treasured.
Lori was a friend to many and didn’t know a stranger. She was kind, generous to a fault, and forgave easily. When she wasn’t working, taking care of her mother Irene, or spending time with her kids or grandkids she enjoyed going to Bingo with her mother, floating the river, and her Lifetime movies!
Lori’s diagnosis was sudden and progressed rapidly. She had so much more life to live. Her friendly smile and laugh amongst other things will be missed tremendously by family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on July 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Stanton Park in Canyonville, Oregon. All are welcome.
