Louise Staley (Flugel) Staley

LOUISE ADALINE STALEY 93 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was born May 18, 1923 in Colville, Washington to William and Maddie Flugel. Louise has lived in the Roseburg area for the past five years having moved from Riddle, Oregon. She owned and operated a care home for the mentally handicapped for about 30 years. Louise was honored many times for care that she gave at her care home. She was president of care givers for several years. Louise enjoyed bowling, dancing, eating out and her dogs Piddy, Buddy and Shadow. She gave regularly to the Humane Society and Veterans. Survivors include her daughter Carla Holte and her husband Dewey; sister Lucille Branson; grandchildren Joyce Beach, Debbie Cloenger, Cathy Kay, Richard Gindlesberger, Shannon Roberts and Brian Porter; several great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; friends Alice and Betty. Louise was preceded in death by her husband William Staley; parents; sons Richard Gindlesberger, Jimmy Gindlesberger and Bobby Gindlesberger and granddaughter Tammy Domingas. Private family services will be held at her home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to either the Humane Society or Meals on Wheels. The family would like to thank Meals on Wheels, Mercy Hospice and care givers Amber, Julia and Kari for grandma's care.
