Margie Pauline (Cooper) Sox, 86, of Roseburg passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at her home of natural causes. She was born January 11, 1924 in Glasco, Kansas to Ralph and Nell (Palmer) Cooper. Margie graduated High School in 1942 and attended nursing college later working as a LPN at Douglas Community Hospital for 28 years. She married Donald O. Hoefferle, he died in 1967. She married Larry N. Sox and they were married 24 years before his death in 2002. She enjoyed traveling and embroidery. Margie is survived by her sons, Michael ( Sandy) Hoefferle, and Gene (Yolanda) Hoefferle, daughters, Karen Dittman (Mike Watson), and Diana (Dwayne) Varner. She is also survived by her step sons Dennis Sox and Randy (Dawn) Sox , ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews along with her special friends Donna Tarrant, Loreena Kerr, Linda Alvarea and many others. Margie is preceded in death by her two husbands, a son, Dennis, her parents, a brother, Kenneth Cooper, and a granddaughter Debbie.
