Age 97 passed away early Friday morning, August 15, 2008. Margret was born in Uniontown, Washington on October 20, 1910, but lived most of her adult life in Roseburg. She was preceded in death by her husband John L Saunders, who passed away in 1955. Margret is survived by a son W. Melvin Saunders and wife Karen of Anchorage, Alaska, two daughters, Anne Schroeder and Susan Hachler both living in Roseburg, two granddaughters Amy Horrigan, Birmingham, AL and Kristine Thomas and husband Brian, Cameron Park, CA one grandson Eric Schroeder Salem, Or; and two great grandchildren Leigh Thomas and Brian Thomas jr., Cameron Park, CA. Margret will be laid to rest next to her husband John following services at Roseburg Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 20th at 10 AM.
