Marian Isaac (Dunlap) Isaac

Isaac, Marian Dunlap, age 97 of Roseburg and Medford, Oregon. Marian passed away in her sleep on Friday, August 12, 2016. She was born to Roscoe and Marie Dunlap in Davenport, Iowa, November 16, 1918. She graduated from local schools and continued her education at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Following college she went to Boulder Sanitarium and Hospital in Boulder, Colorado where she completed graduate nurses training in 1945. Marian married Paul G. Isaac of Corning, California in 1946. Marian worked as a nurse in Washington, Iowa, Illinois, California, and retired in 1980 after working 13 years at the Roseburg VA Hospital. Marian was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church from her teen years to her passing and awaits the resurrection to go to heaven. Marian is survived by daughter Paulann Isaac Dymond (John) of San Francisco, California, and son Jere Isaac (Pamela Mackey Isaac) of Talent Oregon, granddaughter Rebecca Weaver, grandson Benjamin Isaac, great-grandson Brandon and great-granddaughter Emily. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Interment will be within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
