Marlene J Meyers

Marlene Meyers passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018, after battling Alzheimer’s for several years. She was 78 years old.
Marlene enjoyed entertaining her family and friends with her jovial personality and great cooking. She played bridge and was an avid golfer later in life. She also knit, crocheted, and tended to her large garden of roses and other plants. Marlene had a love for all animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Meyers; her daughter, Gina Meyers; her son, Daniel Meyers; and son-in-law, Alex Berg.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Callahan Court for their care and support.
A memorial service will be held to honor her life at Faith Lutheran Church of Roseburg on May 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1650 NW Naito Parkway, suite 190, Portland, OR 97209 (alz.org).
