Martha Jean Jansen

MARTHA JEAN (KINTZING) JANSEN, born June 3, 1926, left here to go to the Promised Land on August 17, 2016. She was born to Helen and George Kintzing in Hanover, Pennsylvania along with two older siblings Bill and Francis. Martha married Loren E. DeMers and gave birth to five boys. She later married Richard P. Jansen and gave birth to one boy and one girl. Martha was a 54 year resident of Sutherlin, Oregon living out at Hinkle Creek, east of Sutherlin. Mom left 6 children along with 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Martha was preceded in death by her husbands Loren and Richard and 1 son Bill. She will be remembered for her mother's heart to her children and their friends. Everyone who ever met Martha left with a smile on their face. Mom was a great cook as she labored in love for her family and she was a mom to many who loved her for her gratitude in life. We know that mom and brother Bill are together in Heaven, smiling and hugging as they watch over us with love. Smile at the sun and feel our warmth. We would like to invite all of you who knew mom to please come and join us at the viewing on Tuesday, August 23rd from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses and at The Father's House on Wednesday, August 24th at 10:00 AM.
