Martina M. Brown, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her home in Roseburg, Oregon. She was born on November 10, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Alfonso and Juanita Vasquez.
Martina grew up in St. Paul with her brother Samuel Vasquezand sisters Victoria Patlan, Mary Fonseca, and Rosemary Vasquez.
Martina married Gilbert Brown in 1978 in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to Roseburg in 1980.

Martina loved to sew, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Juanita, her dad, Alfonso, a first husband, James B. Palacio,her brother Sam, her sister Rosemary, and her husband, Gilbert.

Martina is survived by her children, Theresa Palacio (Cleveland, TN), Linda Vasquez Evans (Omaha, NE), James Palacio (Omaha, NE), Maria (Doug) Crince (Roseburg, OR), Luis (Kathy) Palacio (Omaha, NE), John (Linda) Palacio (Hixon, TN), Rena (Andrew) Huntington (Carson City, NV), and Rosita (Jeff) Force (Omaha, NE); her grandchildren Jacob James Dinan, Martina Ann Sadler, Daniel James Dinan, Dr. Joey Evans, Dr. Johnny Evans, Paul David Ueding, Zachariah Smolnik, Emilia Gomez, Michael Palacio, Sam Rodriguez, Angelia Rodriguez, Mark Palacio, Lucas Palacio, Nicholas Palacio, Eric Palacio, Alexandra Palacio, Giovanti Palacio, Guliano Palacio, Jon Crince, Jody Crince, Jordon Crince, Allan Huntington, and Lia Huntington; great grandchildren Sage Evans, Abigail Sadler,Cameron Ueding, Thea Rose Dinan, and Piper Dinan, John Evans, Henry Evans.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, 11 AM at Roseburg Memorial Gardens Pavilion.
