She married on November 27, 1971, in Lakeview, OR.
Mary obtained multiple Bachelor's degrees from Multnomah University and George Fox University. After moving to Roseburg from Lakeview, Mary taught at Roseburg Christian School, and later was a bus driver for Durham School Services. She was a member of the community for over 40 years.
Mary taught Ladies Bible Studies at Melrose Community Church for over 15 years.
She leaves behind her son Tim Leonard; sister Ruth Chown; and six grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at Melrose Community Church on Friday, February 20, 2015, at 1 p.m.
