Michael "Mike" Lyons

MICHAEL "MIKE" LYONS 58, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born January 24, 1955 in Corvallis, Oregon to Wayne and Pat Lyons. Mike was raised in Roseburg and graduated from Roseburg High School in 1973. While Mike was in high school he did a job shadow at Burness-Hahn Oldsmobile and Datsun. After high school Mike worked at the dealership and became the parts manager. He later worked at Hahn's Rainbow Trailer Sales as an RV tec. Mike also worked as the parts manager for Hansen Chevrolet for 20 years, was the parts manager for Casey's Race Parts and Casey's Carquest and for the past year he worked for Douglas County in the Fleet Dept as the parts manager. Mike enjoyed auto racing, camping, fishing and crabbing. He was a member of Vine Street Baptist Church and was active in the Relay For Life. Survivors include his wife Vicki; daughter Erin; son David; sister Kathi and her husband Jeff and his mother Pat. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Vine Street Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Hahn will officiate. Private cremation rites have been held. Contributions may be made in Mike's memory to Relay For Life (Vine Street Baptist Team).
