Molly Mae Morgan

Passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. She was born May 22, 1917 in Jay, Oklahoma, the oldest of nine children. Molly is survived by her son, Jim (Donna) Morgan; grandchildren; Vickie (Gary) Hermes, Mike (Jaime) Morgan, Darrell (Patti) Morgan, Linnie (Shirley) Tinker, Jim (Sherry) Tinker, Debra Ann (Mark) Griffin and Carlos Tinker; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brother, Jack and sister, Betty living in Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Molly was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril "Short" Morgan; her daughter and son-n-law, Barbara Jean and James McCoy; her grandson, Logan Tinker; one brother, Buck and sisters: Marie, Callie, Jo, Emma, and Charlene. Molly moved with her family to Oregon in 1948 settling in Rock Creek where the Mill Pond Park is now located, while living there she worked as a cook. In 1962 she and her husband moved to Winchester where she lived until he passed away. In 1978 she moved to Lookingglass to be closer to her family and lived there for 19 years, she then moved to Roseburg where she lived the remainder of her years. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. Viewing will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014, 3-5 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Roseburg Memorial Garden's Pavilion and will be officiated by Pastor Keith Williams of the Lookingglass Church.
