Naweta Wilson

Naweta Jo Wilson, 88 of Roseburg passed away on Monday April 3, 2017. Jo has lived in the Roseburg area for over 25 years and had previously lived in Ada Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Torrance California. She was born December 3, 1928 to Joseph Franklin and Alice (Correll) McCauley. Jo graduated from Ada High School in 1946. She was an avid gardener raising all types of roses, lavender, lilies and herbs. Jo was also an artist working in charcoal, water colors, pastels and mosaics, along with being a master Seamstress and lifelong lover and caretaker of animals and nature. She was a member of the Chickasaw Nation. Jo is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Percy Milburn Wilson in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Linda Alice Wilson and her husband Stephen Alan Felker, sons: Ronald Wayne Wilson and his wife Siobham O'Reilly and Cameron Keith Wilson and his wife, Kathy Holcomb. Also surviving are her grandchildren Adrienne Jo Wilson, Alexa Michele Wilson, Sydney Elizabeth Felker-Ross, Coeli Bautista-O'Reilly, Shainen Boutista-O'Reilly.
