Nellie P. Best

NELLIE PHYLLIS BEST 92, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Saturday, April 24, 2017 in Springfield, Oregon. She was born November 9, 1924 in Riddle, Oregon to Noris and Vena Walker. Nellie worked at the Peppermill and Kings Table for many years. She enjoyed going camping and fishing. Nellie was a member and was active at Hucrest Church of God. Survivors include her son Steven Best; sisters Doris Laney and Vivian Fox; brother Bill Walker; grandchildren Nicole Best, Debra, Andy and Eric Howe. Nellie was preceded by her parents, husband of 69 years Ervin Best and daughter Sandy McCord. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hucrest Community Church of God.
