Nellie Agnes Burris
Agnes Burris, age 82, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at her home in Drain, Oregon. Agnes was the youngest of eleven children born to Albert and Suzie (Cooper) Baker in Wickes, Arkansas, on February 11, 1933. Agnes married Walter Burris on November 27, 1952, in Gillham, Arkansas. They moved from Gillham to West Hollywood, Florida, Ft. Worth Texas, Marathon Shores, Florida and finally to Drain, Oregon, where she lived since 1958. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Walter on August 15, 2004.
Agnes is survived by her daughter Pamela Martindale and husband Roger of Eugene; sons Harold Burris and wife Becky of Drain, and James Burris of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Kristen O'Hare, Kimberly Martindale, Garrett Burris and Carson Burris; and sister, Opal White of Granbury, Texas.
A memorial service will be Saturday, June 27, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Drain Church of Christ. Reverend James Crowl and Reverend James Burris officiating.
