NETA B. ROBINSON 93, passed away on December 27, 2010 in Sutherlin. She is resting peacefully until Jesus calls her from her grave at the second coming. Neta was born April 26, 1917 in Colville, Washington to Florence and Elwin Curtis. She has been a resident of Sutherlin since 1945, where she was a 65 year member of Sutherlin Seventh Day Adventist Church. Neta and her husband Sam Robinson owned and operated Robinson's Building Supply. At great sacrifice they educated their nine children in Christian SDA schools and colleges. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Sam Robinson of Sutherlin; son, Sam and Gladys Robinson of Sutherlin, who served the SDA Church in Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippine and the South Pacific building colleges and schools; their three daughters, Nanette and Adam Haley, Yvonne and Ken Gruesbeck and Pamela and Bryan Luna who are all college graduates; son Bob and Brenda Robinson of Bangalore, India, who served the SDA Church in Africa, Sri Lanka, Russia and India and their three children Dr. Michael and Tina Robinson, Bobbie Jo and Dr. Witchit Sirkureja and Tonya and John Rodgers; daughter, Ruth Kroschel of Sutherlin, served the SDA Church in Paradise, California and Sutherlin, Oregon, her children Kevin Kroschel and Kari and Ben Lowden; daughter, Virginia and Ron Oliver of Vancouver, Washington, served the SDA Church in the Indonesia and India, children Kristie and Jim Biggerstaff Julia and Rolly Hedrick and Dr. Anthony and Ronda Smith; daughter, Juanita and Clarence Stroh of Vancouver, Washington, served the SDA Church in the Philippines and India, children Tamara and Murrey Elborn, Tyler and Cindy Wageman and Tiffany Wageman; daughter, JoAnn and Leon Baptist of Paradise, California served the SDA Church in Paradise, California and Pacific Union College, children Lisa and Kirk Schnoor, Leon and Katie Baptist, Jared and Jen Baptist and David and Lisa Baptist; son, David and Ulena Robinson of Taipei, Taiwan, served the SDA Church in Taipei, Taiwan and Sutherlin, Oregon, children Dalena and Bennett Spencer, Daniel Robinson and Doug Robinson; daughter, Geraldine Jordan, deceased, children Rebecca and J.R. Thornton, Melinda and John Bass and Darren Jordan; son, John Robinson deceased. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 2:30 pm at the Sutherlin Seventh Day Adventist Church., 714 W Central. Private interment was held within the grounds of Valley View Cemetery.
