Patricia Ulrich (Forrester) Ulrich

PATRICIA A. FORRESTER, QUARLES, ULRICH, 93, passed away September 17, 2015 peacefully at her home in Green. She was born February 13, 1922 in Glasgow, Scotland to William and Margaret Forrester. Patricia was the third child of four. Her father came to the US when Patricia was 2 years old to become a citizen and called for the family. At the age of 3 ½ she emigrated to the US with her mother and two brothers. She was raised in Dedham, Massachusetts. Pat went to Nursing School and graduated with an LPN from Dr. Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts in 1942. Pat married Charles Quarles in 1943 and had three children. They later divorced in 1965. Pat moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1970. She married Walter Ulrich in 1980. Patricia worked at the old Mercy Hospital for 9 years. Survivors include her sister Margaret Kellogg; daughter Margaret Pettibone; sons Chuck Quarles (Dorothy) and Peter Quarles (Leslie); grandchildren Denise Simpson (Darryl), Donna Burgess (Sean) and Andrea Allen (Ron); great grandchildren Mindi Simpson, Alisha Simpson, Joshua Stringer (Cat), Keysha Ely, Tasha Jones, Brad Allen and Kristen Allen; 12 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy Forrester and Bill Forrester; Charles Quarles and Walter Ulrich. A graveside gathering will be held at a later date.
