Patricia Lynn Mcelhannon

PATRICIA LYNN McELHANNON, affectionately known as Trish and Dood by her family and friends, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the age of 50. She was born October 3, 1960 in Roseburg, Oregon to Warren C. and Virginia B. (Stinnett) Good. Trish grew up and attended schools in Sutherlin, Oregon and attended UCC. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, going to the Goodwill, playing bingo with her mom and dad and most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and mom and dad. Trish had the biggest heart in the world and always had a "new" best friend. She was an active member of New Life Christian Fellowship and she loved her church family. On April 9, 2006 in Sutherlin she married Ernest "Jeff" McElhannon. Survivors include her husband Jeff McElhannon; daughters Chelsea McBroom both of Sutherlin, Oregon and Karlee Montgomery of Corvallis, Oregon; sisters Lavon Gass, Chryel Bright, Connie Fackrell all of Sutherlin, Oregon and Pam Oerman of Eagle Point, Oregon; brothers Leland Good and Harold Good; parents Warren and Virginia Good all of Sutherlin, Oregon; grandchildren Emaly, Morgan and Landon; her mother-in-law Marge McElhannon; stepchildren Stacey Cotton, Nicolle Leppert, Jessie Parnell and William McElhannon who loved her very much; 7 step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Trish was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Linda Good and her aunt Peg "Bubber". A celebration of Trish's life will be held Friday, February 25, 2010 at 5:00 pm at New Life Christian Fellowship in Roseburg. Pastor Tim Powlison will officiate.
