Patricia Lee Wimberly

Patricia Lee McClintock Wimberly was born March 5, 1924, in Roseburg, Oregon, to Leon Edward and Genevieve Mildred McClintock. She attended Roseburg Schools and the University of Oregon, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She married Leland Kent Wimberiy in Roseburg, Oregon, on August 17, 1946, after he was discharged from the Army Air Corps. They moved to Eugene while Lee finished his education and graduated from the University of Oregon. They moved back to Roseburg and became partners in the McClintock family-owned business, Commercial Title Company. She was active in many charitable drives; a Cub Scout den mother; past president of Chapters CU and ES, P.E.O., past president of Yuma P.E.0, group in Arizona; a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, and a Mercy Hospital Volunteer. She was predeceased by her husband, Leland Kent Wimberly; her parents, Leon E. and Genevieve M. McClintock; and brother, Richard McClintock. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Wimberly Salazar and her husband, Jerry; her son, Thomas Kent Wimberly and his wife, Janice; grand-daughter, Chandon Curtis Georgian and husband, Mark; and her great-grandson, Conrad; and her grandson, Evan Kent Wimberly.

Patricia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Roseburg, Oregon, with both her son and daughter by her side.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at St. George's Episcopal Church in Roseburg, Oregon, on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be designated to St. George's Episcopal Church or Mercy Home Health and Hospice.
