Patrick Otto Boykin

PATRICK OTTO BOYKIN, of Roseburg, passed away in his sleep on September 16, 2015. He was born August 4, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ to William and Betty Boykin. Pat graduated from high school in Eugene and went into the US Air Force where he served in Vietnam. After the Air Force, he spent most of his days as a drummer in a band. Pat loved music and would play with the band all over Oregon. He also enjoyed camping, old vehicles, traveling and visiting with friends and family. Pat is predeceased by his father, William and one brother, Raymond. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; mother, Betty; son, Kevin of Sacramento, CA; sisters Betty (Melvin) Hill of Toledo, OR; Trudy Boykin of Chemult, OR; and Judy (Don) Richardson of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Dan (Theresa) Boykin of Vida, OR; Fred (Michele) Boykin of Eugene, OR and Ed (Sharon) Boykin of Veneta, OR; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Roseburg National Cemetery. A viewing will take place from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses.
