Paul Winters Jarvis “Wink” 73 of Winston passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was born on September 21, 1945 in Coshocton, Ohio to Paul and Sylvia (Fowler) Jarvis. He graduated High school and joined the Army serving in Vietnam and receiving three Purple Hearts. Paul was employed at Roseburg Lumber at plant 2 as a Hyster Driver. He enjoyed hunting, racing Jeeps and was a member of the VFW and loved baseball and the Little league world series. Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane and his son Paul W Jarvis Jr. (Jackie) and granddaughter Madison Jarvis. He is also survived by his brothers; Hedge (Nancy), Ernie (Peg) and sisters in law Jean Jarvis, Ruth Prowell along with many nieces and nephew and special friends, Jeremy and Shelley Roy and Mike and Karen Divine. Preceding him in death is his parents and a brother Lanty.
Funeral Services will be Saturday November 24, 2018 at 11 AM at Wilson’s Chapel of the Roses with internment to follow at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses from 1PM until 5 PM. Please visit Paul’s web site at
