Pauline Clark, 95, of Roseburg passed away on February 13, 2017. She was born in Centralia, Washington to Oscar and Maude (Kirby) Lewis on August 23, 1921. She attended school in Centralia graduating from high school there in 1939. Pauline married Harry (Barney) Clark in 1945. Pauline was employed as a bookkeeper for most of her adult life, assisting her husband with his landscape business. She was a welder on Liberty Ships in the Portland Shipyards during WWII. She was a member of Rosie the Riveter. Pauline enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Redeemer Church, St Vincent DePaul, Women of the Moose, and a member of Fitness First for many years. Pauline is survived by her daughter Pennie Kane and her husband Stephen Sr., grandchildren Kristin Kane, LeeAnne Kane, Stephen Kane Jr., and Trevor Kane. She is also survived by a niece, Linda Lewis Creighton, and nephew Richard Creighton, her great niece Anne Creighton Blodgett, great nephews Cliff Gellings and David Creighton. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Barney, her son, David Ray Clark, parents; Oscar and Maude, her twin brother Paul Lewis at age 90, and brothers Judson, Milburn, and James Lewis.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2 pm at Riverview Terrace.
