Nee Mendham passed away Monday, November 10, 2014, at home in Roseburg, Oregon. She and surviving husband, Phillip Hunker moved to Roseburg 13 years ago. Born in Chichester, England, May 20, 1923, she served Great Britain in WWII in the Women's Air Force Signal Corp. Married after the war to Walter Runciman, she is survived by sons Donald and Robert Runciman and daughter Alison Tucker, with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Phyllis approached her life with artistry in many areas from oil painting to pastels and had a gift for developing friendships. Phyllis' family thanks her many friends who gave their precious time to make her passing gentle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilbur United Methodist Church. 757 North Bank Road, Wilbur, Oregon.
